I’m not really sure I understand your comment. I believe by her specifying Oncree capitol instead of Trovati capitol that she isn’t being vengeful. To me, it seems she’s just sending them back home. If she had said Trovati capitol then, yeah, that would be vengeful.
oh… VINES. never mind. I’m not so hentai grossed out now. lol
I will never look at a potted plant the same way again though. Ivy has lots of vegicles. lol
I had the impression the Ongree were within the “capitol” and Delos Reyes didn’t care whether the Ongree ended up in their enclave or someplace more convenient to the Guys With Guns.
The line is “beam the Ongree to their capital”. So somewhere within the capital city of their territory. Could be the throne room, could be the Walmart. But nowhere near the guys with guns.

Oops. My comment was meant to be in reply to DSL’s comment. This is hard to do on a phone. Sorry. :/
Oh. And one more thing.
TENTACLES?!?
Er… Vegi-cles?!?

I will see myself out now.

Also to be wondered is what significance Afshar intended and/or what Delos Reyes read into Afshar’s “seven” comment.
That was from the introduction to this story – at the Vikrant launch ceremony Reyes asked Afshar what number she was thinking of.

Walmart is everywhere… even in the 24th century! I was hoping the Federation economy would’ve eradicated them. 😉
Surely you’ve heard of DaiMon Wal?
This seems like a bad idea, Commander. Petty, vengeful — and misdirected.
Unless you know something about the captain’s wound that we don’t …
