    I really like this dynamic, it’s too bad TNG didn’t stick with it, even toned down.

      Me too. It’s one of the reasons I pitched to Mark having more of an antagonistic relationship between the captain and XO in this story. Of course, he gave it a few more layers and I couldn’t be happier!

    This dynamic gets more and more interesting.
