Interesting that the bullet seems to have lost nearly all of its energy, otherwise it would have deformed on impact. It indicates it was flying for a fairly long time through the time tunnel, maybe a few minutes. Then again, it was frozen in space relative Lt. Jin, so it looks like velocity on entry is fully neutralized and mostly not returned on exit from the tunnel.
The amount of separation is also interesting. My guess is Lt. Jin was sent back to the moment of her leaving in order to preserve the time loop, get her home as a thank you, and still avert the future in order to save the Kelvins and prevent her recapture. So, she should be standing just behind the scene’s framing.
“I’m you from the future; no time to explain. Oh, Christ!”
Sweet, I’m sure I’ve seen those labels on that panel before…
There’s something to be said for high-backed task chairs.

Someone might want to check the station’s hull.
That slug should still be fairly warm.
I’m glad to see she didn’t materialize in front of her younger self, and accidentally shoot herself in the face…
