      She didn’t use any of the advantages her ship possesses, and by the looks of it staying out of visual range would have been sufficient.

      What should save her bacon is she was not informed as to what she would actually face, not even in vague terms. She knew it was from a science facility, and I’ll assume Code One Flash is the most critical code, but she had no indication of danger other than the item having been forcibly stolen. From that she only knows the item is valuable, but not what form that value takes, and she doesn’t even know the disposition of the enemy, which is a point for and against her.
