I find it hard to believe an experienced tactical officer with 24 kills would burst into tears from a harsh comment like that, it wasn’t even an insult, just a reprimand.

Unless she’s going for the “Exhausted Picard” look. 😛

You’re right, in a way. The idea was that she’s a killing machine, but at the same time she’s basically a child with some of the emotional reactions of a child. The success of that, I’m sure, could be debated.

Great comic. I’d like to see more aliens on the bridge. There are plenty of reference sites like Trek Core where you can adapt the look of the ship from screen caps and other photo references. I love the cartoony art. Keep this up. What I don’t like about current Trek comics is their all too real photo-realistic depictions of the characters. An artist telling a story shouldn’t be caught up too much to see that every move is photo realistic. Everyone can’t be a Neal Adams or Alex Ross and shouldn’t try to be. I really like your work and keep it up, It’s (as Mr. Spock would say) a fascinating comic strip.

Thanks, Lloyd. This is the 22nd Century, so no aliens and no TOS style ships yet. But you can look forward to seeing more aliens in the next episode.
