    I’ll refer you to Star Trek: Discovery utilizing the infamous “F” word not once, but twice not only in the same episode, but in the same scene! My pearls were clutched for days afterwards.

    It’s weird to see an admiral being alright with an officer swearing, but I’m liking it so far.

      It fits nicely with the more casual or flexible military culture Starfleet seems to have. I think being cool about swearing also fits better with Roddenberry’s vision for future humanity in regard to how they are generally accepting of all sexual, biological, and cultural stuff.
