An MIM-104 battery, but in a fixed location. This tells us a few things about the “conflict”.

Not going to make too much out of the fact it looks like a Patriot (I have to think that similar problems — the need for an easily transportable and rapidly deployable long range artillery — beget similar-looking solutions) but the first thought that comes to mind is that this is some outside factions’ “proxy war.” Patriot or not, it doesn’t look like something locally made.

Indeed! The hand inside the glove that made this possible just might run on pink blood. 😉

Now what I have to wait until at least Tuesday to find out is: What good is what Reyes about to do, going to do?
I’m assuming from her question to Kel about the prefix code that it will have something to do with the Lexington-god knocking the missiles down, but what will that accomplish?
Prime Minister guy already knows it’s a machine up there, and the Ongree leader’s conviction that the thing up there is God will only be reinforced — which seems to go against what Reyes was trying to get across.
Perhaps a curve will be thrown.
