      From the Ready Room display the Ambassador is nearly as big as the Galaxy. A ship the size of the original Enterprise in our modern Navy carries a crew of 6,000. The Ambassador is much, much larger. You could probably put 50,000 people on it, and yet there is only 1,000 people on board. That’s a lot of space.     Wouldn’t they also care whether she’s A, B, AB or O, in addition to the Rh factor?

    Also, putting the communicators in the badges suddenly doesn’t sound like a great idea.
