Not being a huge Mudd fan, I skipped this story and I’m sorry I did. Yet more proof that fans create better stories and characters than the studio.

Something tells me this story ain’t over, I don’t see Captain Guzman letting the spacing of dozens of innocent being go without making the perpetrator pay.

That’s the point in the story that promises to become interesting. Two-tones on fed ship in pursuit of an abducted vessel with a “captain(?)” likely to betray the cause, but still pretending to have a relationship with the real usurper – and soon at least one fraction of people who will plot to usurp the usurper and believing it to be the captain. Also: Does the destination exist?

I’m still curious as to where this story would fit in relative to “I, Mudd.”

Well, he did refer to the Vrapnahr colony planet as “planet Mudd the Second” (panel 94 / 2018-04-03), while the one in “I, Mudd” was “Mudd [the First]”. I guess that indicates a chronological order.

Extrapolation: Mudd did somehow escape the 500 android Stellas(*), got into the arms dealing business, and the rest is history.

(*) And I kinda understand him there.

That’s… unsatisfying. I expect a return to this story somewhere down the line.

Well, besides the Vulcans, I think that counts as wrapping everything up.

Only if you do it in comic form. 🙂 (Great work, Mark!)

And they lived happily ever after?
