    The shipping line doesn’t seem to plan for safety or error margins? Even present day container and cruise ships carry extra fuel and provisions for bad weather, port delays, etc. I thought accountants would be out of a job by then. Anyway, seems Harry is about to get desperate.

        Depends; the captain seems to imply that Mudd is causing supply problems, which probably means they are using their emergency supply. So, if they are using their emergency supply already, it would probably be wise to drop Mudd back off and retry the mission, from the safety perspective.
