I love this. Panel 2 is justice served for a whole season’s worth of crappy TNG scripts. More of this, please.

As a fan of your work here it’s tough for me to say that I think that this story is pacing poorly. There’s more than one instance where I’ve had a ‘broken record’ feeling with the pacing. For example, the loop of Kirk and Rojan seemed to go on for about two to three strips longer than they should have. Likewise with the current Carmen Sandiego alternate universes that we’re reading through right now. Not that I don’t enjoy the hell out of them, but for a bi-weekly release I do feel that more than two weeks repeating the same story beat is a bit much.

It’s quite possible that having a ‘broken record’ feeling to the story is intentional or you’re just really having fun with seeing how far the rabbit hole goes (the alternate Gary Seven and Captain Styles *were* irrefutably awesome). Likewise, it is also possible that my reading experience of the pacing would be much different were I looking at the entire story at one time instead of broken up over the span of days.

Regardless, thank you so much for sharing your labor of love with the world. I’m here every Tuesday and Friday just like a broken record. 😉

To be fair the punching scenes didn’t happen during the regular schedule days of the comic. They came on days when there would have been no comic, so I’m not sure what you’re complaining about. As for these vignettes, they’re hilarious. I could read an entire series of only these.

A clothed female with a penchant for pilfering… and based on previous dialog. Nah, can’t be Carmen Sandiego, but might be one of her lackeys.
