    Since the mission was *planned* this time and not accidental like most Starfleet time travel cases, shouldn’t she have had training for these situations?

      I was thinking Starfleet should have enough knowledge and computational skill to know where all the old satellites and space rocks would have been, and taken the extra measure of time jumping further away from Earth, maybe out by the moon. Also, she really should have had a copilot.

      Fortunately, this is yet another interesting story, with interesting characters. 🙂
