A-ha! I’ve been wondering where this was going. A bit of me thought it might have been the Organians, but since when do they need to manifest as something big?
A friend linked me to the beginning of this story, and I’ve been hooked since. I love the colours and the papery texture that shows in the backgrounds; they bring back memories of comics from before everything went to digital processes, but what enthuses me the most is the nuance your stories have. There isn’t the wide-eyed wandering of the original series or the Next Generation, or the oppressively grim tone that a lot of fan works have, but an exploration of a complex universe that logically exists outside the scope of scattered, hour-long adventures. I think this is the first Trek-related project I’ve really enjoyed in some time. Thank you for sharing it.
Thanks, Jayle. I’m really glad you’re enjoying the comic. I think “nuanced” is probably the best compliment a writer can ever hope to get. Hope to hear from you here regularly!
