This comic has inspired me to draw and write TOS stuff under similar principles that you have described in the About section. Thank you. Except for that sex scene. That was unwanted.

That was a comment on the whole series, not just the one strip.

The first one is so subtle I didn’t notice it until later in the story, the second one needs a lot of subtlety.

I’m just saying you would definitely have a larger audience (there are little kid Trekkies!) if there was some sort of censored version available.

As a father I’m ok with there being some stuff in the world only for adults. But thanks!

We know the voice she speaks in. I’m looking forward to this.

So, Number One is now a Captain? AWESOME!

John Byrne of X-Men did a four part mini series comic titled “Star Trek:Crew”. It covers Number Ones career, from her last year at the academy, to the arrival of Christopher Pike on the Enterprise. The running gag was that No 1’s name is ever mentioned.

I also like the fact that she’s wearing the “wraparound” tunic as well as pants. The mini wouldn’t hold well to her level of gravitas

The mini doesn’t hold to anyone’s level of gravitas, unless you’re just thinking of them as eye candy.
